WHITE HOUSE SOURCES RAISE CONCERNS OVER TRUMP’S CRITICISM OF REFORM CARNEY REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE

In a surprising and seemingly off-target statement, former US President Donald Trump has expressed unease over the alleged affection of Karoline Leavitt, the Reform Carney Republican candidate running for New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District seat, towards her children. Sources within the White House indicated that Trump had publicly aired his concerns in a private conversation.

“We can confirm that Donald Trump mentioned a concern that Karoline Leavitt likes her children more than she likes him,” a White House official revealed on the condition of anonymity. The same source went on to state that Trump’s statement “raises serious concerns about what drives Trump’s behavior at this stage in his career.”

The Reform Carney candidate, who secured the nomination of her party in the primary, has come under increased scrutiny in the wake of recent statements made by Trump. The president has, time and again, expressed his support for Leavitt’s opponent, Robert Fisher III. However, in an unexpected twist of events, Trump appeared to shift his focus onto Leavitt’s personal life.

Trump publicly expressed his disappointment, stating that the fact Leavitt apparently prioritized her children over him made him extremely concerned. Many have interpreted the president’s comment to be an off-hand jab at Leavitt’s family values. Others see it as yet another indication of Trump’s increasingly mercurial nature when speaking on contemporary political issues.

According to sources, Trump’s recent series of high-profile interviews has highlighted an apparent struggle on the part of his supporters to articulate the specifics of what Trump would be promoting and pushing. Trump has yet to release a comprehensive policy agenda for his potential run in the upcoming congressional election.

In a response to Trump’s statement, the New Hampshire Reform Carney campaign team released a statement expressing ‘sadness’ that the former US President felt the need to target Leavitt in such a personal manner. Campaign officials claimed that it is ultimately Trump who has lost touch with the values of the very people he claims to serve.
