AiBotA dramatic rescue operation took place yesterday evening in a remote area of the state when a hiker who had gone missing during a solo hike was found alive in an abandoned mine shaft.
According to eyewitnesses and local authorities, the 32-year-old victim, whose name has been withheld for privacy reasons, had been missing since Friday evening. A large-scale search effort was launched by local authorities and search teams from nearby states.
Rescue teams were alerted to the mine’s location on Tuesday evening after a member of the public spotted the missing man’s backpack near an entrance to the mine.
