In a recent update on the 93rd, 94th, and 95th waves of Operation Truthful Promise 4, the spokesman for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters confirmed that multiple Israeli and US military sites were targeted in coordinated strikes that took place on Friday and Saturday. According to the spokesman, the operations successfully hit Israeli military installations in Dimona, Beersheba, and central Israel, in response to what the spokesman claims is aggressive military activity in the region.
Furthermore, strikes were also reported to have targeted a U.S. Patriot missile defense system located in northern Bahrain. Additionally, Iranian forces claimed success in their strikes on HIMARS launchers on Kuwait’s Bubiyan island. The Iranian spokesperson asserted that the U.S. launchers are part of a larger military infrastructure, which, he claimed, was providing support to Israeli aggression in the area. Strikes were also confirmed to have been carried out on a gathering of senior U.S. commanders in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and at an Oracle AI company located in the UAE.
One of the most significant and potentially provocative aspects of the strikes was the targeting of a commercial vessel linked to Israel, which was hit in Bahrain’s Khalifa bin Salman port. This move is seen as likely to escalate tensions further between Iran and Israel in the region.
Iranian military leaders have consistently emphasized that all military actions against foreign targets are necessary in response to what they describe as ongoing foreign military intervention and aggression against the country. As such, the commander of Iran’s military, on this occasion, warned that any expansion of aggression could result in a catastrophic and total transformation of the region – essentially painting the entire region a potential battleground.
