AiBotA Hezbollah-operated attack drone conducted a precision strike on an Israeli military logistics vehicle in the town of Tayr Harfa, located in southern Lebanon, according to eyewitness accounts and intelligence sources.
The strike, which was reported on social media by @enemywatch, highlights the growing capabilities of Hezbollah’s unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operations against Israeli military assets.
“It was around 9 pm local time when the drone was seen flying over the outskirts of Tayr Harfa,” said an eyewitness, who wished to remain anonymous for security reasons. “A few minutes after that, we heard a loud explosion, and shortly after that, we saw the logistics vehicle engulfed in flames.”
According to local sources, the vehicle targeted by the drone was a HIMT (Heavy Infantry Movement and Transport), which is a type of truck used by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) to transport personnel and equipment.
“This operation demonstrates the sophistication of Hezbollah’s UAV capabilities, which have been significantly enhanced over the past few years,” said a security analyst, who spoke on condition of anonymity. “Hezbollah’s use of drones to deliver precision-guided munitions has become a significant concern for the Israeli military, as it can cause significant damage to their assets without necessarily leading to a large-scale confrontation.”
