“It was a chaotic and terrifying scene,” said Fadil Hamad, a local resident who narrowly escaped the strike. “We heard the sound of explosions and screams of panic from the surrounding streets. It was mayhem, and I feared the worst for my family and I.”
According to eyewitnesses, the airstrikes began at approximately 2:30 AM local time, targeting what officials describe as “militant hideouts” within the town.
