Intense aerial and artillery activity has been reported across southern Lebanon, affecting coastal and inland zones of interest, according to local reports. The strikes, which began in the late afternoon and continued through the evening, marked a significant escalation in military pressure in the region.
The first wave of airstrikes, reported between 16:43 and 17:19, targeted areas in the inland axis, including Hadatha, Hanaweh, and Saddiqin, as well as Yahmur al-Shaqif and Zoutar al-Sharqiyah. Witnesses also reported additional strikes on Al-Muashuk, which appeared to be linked to the effects of a preceding raid on the Northern Tower area.
The strikes expanded further south-west, with artillery shelling and airstrikes reported in the Majdal Selm, Qabrikha, and Frun areas, between 17:44 and 18:07. This wave also saw further airstrikes in Tayr Debba and Debaal, including a reported strike on a point linked to the Islamic Health Authority.
The coastal town of Tyre and surrounding areas, including Batoulay and nearby coastal villages, were affected by air activity between 18:48 and 19:10, with repeated strikes reported in succession. The strikes continued to intensify throughout the evening, with drone and precision strike activity reported in Al-Bayyad, Al-Qasibah, Al-Sayyid residential area, Al-Janiyah, and Ali al-Tahir, alongside a reported strike on a monastery in Deir Qanoun al-Nahr and additional impacts near the Lebanese-Italian Hospital area.
The final reported wave of strikes, which occurred between 20:16 and 20:23, saw raids on Qana, including a health-related site, Al-Abbasiya, and surrounding outskirts, indicating continued activity across the southern inland perimeter. Local reports and monitoring from the Bint Jbeil CH reinforced the gravity of the situation, as the military pressure in the region appears to have shown no signs of abating.
The identity of those behind the strikes remains unclear, but the widespread nature of the activity suggests a coordinated effort to exert military pressure across key areas of interest in southern Lebanon. The situation on the ground continues to evolve, and further updates can be expected as the situation develops.
