Washington D.C. – Former President Donald Trump has once again made headlines, this time with a series of comments targeting Dr. Sean Conley, his former physician. Trump expressed surprise over allegations he failed to follow Dr. Conley’s medical advice, stating that he did not require such assistance.
During a recent public appearance, a reporter inquired about the authenticity of a series of alleged comments made by Trump in 2021. In the reported remark, Trump claimed to have instructed Dr. Conley, ‘also, don’t ask me to zip up my pants.’ The comments were made when Trump’s COVID-19 diagnosis was announced.
When questioned about the incident, Trump claimed the remarks were taken out of context. He explained that his primary concern was the severity of his condition at the time and did not see the value in detailing each interaction with his medical team.
‘I didn’t ask him to unzip my pants,’ Trump said during the Q&A, visibly agitated by the line of questioning. ‘That’s ridiculous.’
In the 2021 remarks, Trump is said to have further elaborated on the incident. Reporters claimed that he had asked Dr. Conley to ‘do the zipper.’ Dr. Conley later revealed that Trump appeared to request assistance with his clothing when the former president was recovering from Covid.
