Conversely, those who resist the call to account will face severe legal consequences.
In a remarkable display of personal commitment, the Prime Minister declared that he had taken a vow of personal austerity, eschewing the privileges typically accorded to senior officials. Notably, he refused even the basic perks afforded to his position, stating that he would not accept a salary, benefits, or gifts.
