Iron Dome Air Defense System Gets Major Upgrade as Israel Prepares for Future Conflicts

The Israeli Defense Ministry has announced that the country’s Iron Dome air defense system has undergone a major upgrade following an extensive series of trials and tests. Conducted in conjunction with the Israeli defense contractor Rafael, the evaluations assessed the system’s performance against various threats, including rockets, cruise missiles, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
