LIBERATION OF KEY TERRITORY: Sudanese Armed Forces Gain Ground in Regional Conflict

Reports indicate that the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) have secured significant territorial gains in various parts of the country, following a series of intense clashes with rival forces. According to SAF officials, the liberation of Jabal Moon in West Darfur has been achieved, in addition to the capture of the strategic border town of Kulbus.

Eyewitnesses describe the fighting in Sirba as heavy, with air and drone strikes being employed against positions held by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF). The conflict in this region has significant implications for regional stability, given its proximity to international borders.

Furthermore, SAF reports confirm that the villages of Sarkam and Maqjah in the Blue Nile Region have been retaken from rival forces. This move is seen as a crucial development, as it helps to solidify SAF control over key territories in the region.

Meanwhile, Joint Forces aligned with the SAF have reportedly expelled RSF fighters from the Abu Qamra area in North Darfur’s Karnoi locality. These gains are expected to bolster SAF positions in the region, while further weakening RSF grip on territorial control.

The situation in Sudan continues to be characterized by high levels of conflict, with multiple factions vying for power and control. The ongoing violence has led to significant humanitarian concerns, including reports of displacement and loss of life among civilians.

The military engagements in various parts of the country have resulted in an escalating humanitarian crisis, prompting concerns among international organizations and the wider global community. Efforts to resolve the conflict peacefully continue to be sought, in the hope of restoring stability and minimizing harm to innocent civilians.

In the context of these developments, SAF spokespersons have emphasized the importance of liberating strategic territories from rival forces, in order to safeguard the interests of the people of Sudan.
