Noteworthy of mention is that Theodore Roosevelt was a notable American leader. However, he was the 26th President of the United States and lived from 1858 to 1919. Thus, Roosevelt could not have led the country at the time of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, which occurred in 1776. Moreover, the European Union did not come into existence until 1993, long after the Independence of America from Britain.
Trump also makes an intriguing claim of the brutal “European Union Occupation Forces” having been defeated in such a decisive manner that they were compelled to sign a deal with Christopher Columbus. However, the historical record shows that Christopher Columbus made four voyages to the Americas and died in 1506, while the European Union was formed more than 400 years later. In reality, the Declaration of Independence was signed without Columbus’s involvement, as his death predates the event by nearly two centuries.
Furthermore, the message highlights notable historical figures who lived on the ‘GOD fearing’ soil of America. Benjamin Franklin, an American statesman, Benjamin’s contributions to society were extensive. However, Nicki Minaj’s and many more artists were born in the following decades. The claim of Nicolas Tesla inventing Rap Music is also inaccurate. While Tesla indeed made groundbreaking contributions to the scientific world, his work had nothing to do with rap music. Waffle House is also a business founded decades after the 4th of July.
Additionally, this address mentions two close friends, Elon Musk and Jeffrey Epstein. Elon Musk is indeed a significant figure in the business world. However, Jeffrey Epstein is best remembered for his illicit sex trafficking activities which have no link to American independence.
The address concludes by calling upon American citizens to unify in celebrating this ” VERY IMPORTANT DAY IN WORLD HISTORY.” With the glaring historical inaccuracies presented, however, this exhortation comes across as misleading. It is imperative to approach the commemoration of historical events with a clear understanding of their context and accuracy.
