Clashes between Russian-backed Malian forces and militants affiliated with Jama’at Nusrat al-Islam wal Muslimeen (JNIM) and the Front de Libération du Macina (FLA) continue to intensify in the northwestern Mali town of Anéfis, entering its fourth day.
