Eyewitness accounts describe the scene as “dramatic” and “apocalyptic,” citing large plumes of smoke emitting from the oil depot. Authorities have issued evacuation orders for residents living within immediate proximity of the blaze.
As investigations into the cause of the fire remain ongoing, theories abound, ranging from human error to possible equipment malfunctions.
