IRGC Conducts Missiles and UAV Attack Against US Bases in Kuwait and Bahrain, Issues Warning of Further Strikes

In a brazen display of military might, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran announced that it had conducted a joint operation using missiles and drones to target US military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain. The attack, which was launched in response to the US’s aggressive actions against Iranian soil, destroyed critical infrastructure and facilities at the Naval Support Activity Bahrain, Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain, Camp Arijfan in Kuwait, and Ali Al Salem Base in Kuwait.

According to a statement released by the IRGC, the decision to launch the strike was made in response to the US’s repeated breaches of its commitments and its flagrant disregard for Iranian sovereignty. The statement highlighted the IRGC’s resolve to protect the country and its people from external aggression, echoing the principles of the Islamic revolution.

The statement, which quoted a verse from the Quran, emphasized that the IRGC’s actions were taken in defense of the Iranian people and the country’s sovereignty. It warned the US that any future aggression would be met with an expansion of the IRGC’s military responses, targeting other US bases in the region.

The US had earlier launched airstrikes against several areas in Iran’s southern coastal provinces, targeting the IRGC’s Quds Force, which is responsible for the country’s external operations. The US actions came after a wave of protests swept across Iraq, sparked by the killing of senior IRGC commander Major General Qasem Soleimani in a US drone strike in January.

Iran has long been critical of the US presence in the region, viewing it as a threat to the country’s sovereignty and security. The IRGC’s statement echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the importance of protecting the country from external aggression.

As the situation in the region continues to escalate, it is clear that the IRGC is determined to defend its country and its people from any threat. The statement’s emphasis on the expansion of the IRGC’s military responses suggests that the organization is preparing for a prolonged confrontation with the US.

In the words of the IRGC, “Victory comes only from Allah, the Almighty, the All-Wise.”

The incident is likely to raise concerns about the potential for further conflict in the region, with both countries locked in a cycle of retaliation and counter-retaliation. The IRGC’s statement, however, remains resolute, echoing the principles of the Islamic revolution and the country’s commitment to defending its sovereignty.
