IRGC Announces Completion of Retaliatory Measures Against US-Military Targets

Tensions in the Middle East have escalated further following a series of attacks carried out by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) against United States military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain. According to an official IRGC statement, key infrastructure and facilities at four US bases in Arifan, Ali al-Salem in Kuwait, and Jafair and Sheikh Isa in Bahrain, were targeted in response to the US military’s alleged breach of agreements and aggression.

Citing national security protocols, the statement emphasized that the targets were chosen due to their strategic significance and potential to disrupt US military operations in the region. Notably, the bases in Kuwait and Bahrain were chosen as a response to US aggression against Iran, particularly in the southern and eastern provinces.

The IRGC attributed the recent demonstrations in Iraq to the people’s display of popular power, highlighting the significance of the event as a testament to the relationship between the people and their Islamic leader. The statement maintained that the US’s anti-popular move, targeting two bridges in the eastern provinces leading to the holy city of Mashhad, failed to overshadow the news of the epic event and will ultimately serve as a rallying point for those opposed to the ‘Great Satan.’

A joint operation by the IRGC’s naval and aerospace forces, utilizing a combination of missiles and drones, was cited as the primary mechanism for the execution of the retaliatory measures. This coordinated assault demonstrated the IRGC’s readiness to extend its defenses beyond its national borders.

Warning the US military that further aggression would result in an escalation of its response, the IRGC emphasized its willingness to defend its interests and those of its regional allies. The statement concluded by highlighting the IRGC’s capabilities in targeting other US bases in the region, further underscoring the gravity of the situation.

In related developments, reports from Qatar and Jordan suggested that initial alarm systems had been triggered by missile trajectories originating from the same direction as the US bases in Kuwait and Bahrain. These systems were deemed false alarms, following further verification of the trajectory.

The region is bracing for potential future escalations as tensions between Iran and the US continue to rise. Amid the heightened uncertainty, diplomatic efforts are being pursued to address the core grievances driving the ongoing conflict.
