US Considers Broader Military Campaign Against Iran

Washington D.C. – A significantly broader military campaign against Iran is reportedly being contemplated by US President Trump, according to high-ranking US officials. The potential escalation comes as the United States continues to retaliate against Iranian targets following the country’s downing of a US Navy drone in June of this year. US officials revealed that a wide range of options is being considered, including strikes on Iranian power plants, further attacks on the country’s nuclear facilities, and aerial bombing raids on facilities buried significantly beneath the earth’s surface, such as the alleged nuclear site ‘Pickaxe Mountain’.

According to information released by US officials and corroborated by other top-level intelligence analysts, US President Trump is currently reviewing multiple military options as the tensions between the United States, Iran, and other key global powers continue to intensify. As part of these deliberations, senior US government advisors are said to be actively weighing potential targets and possible consequences for all parties involved.

The heightened military tensions, coupled with an aggressive rhetoric emanating from both US and Iranian government circles, is further fuelling concerns that direct, full-scale hostilities could soon break out. This escalating scenario raises the very real risk of potentially catastrophic consequences for not only regional stability but the global community as a whole.

Adding further weight to these concerns, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stepped forward with an uncharacteristically forceful statement urging Iran against any potential retaliatory action against the Jewish state. “Do not count on it being quiet if you attack us,” the Israeli Prime Minister said. “This will be a different event, much more powerful,” – effectively warning Tehran of the significant military response Israel would be prepared to unleash in the event of a retaliatory strike.

US President Trump’s decision regarding potential military action against Iran will have far-reaching implications not only for the United States but also for a plethora of global players including, most particularly, US allies such as Israel, as well as for Iran’s regional neighbors and rival, Saudi Arabia.
