Iran Threatens Full-Scale Invasion Unless US Ends Strikes

In a move that threatens to escalate the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, Iranian Major General Mohsen Rezaei has stated that his country will launch full-scale offensive operations against the United States if Washington fails to halt its military strikes against Iran.

The warning comes as the US military has stepped up its campaign against Iranian targets, including surveillance sites, military logistics infrastructure, underground weapons storage, and maritime capabilities. According to a recent statement from the Pentagon, US forces have conducted a series of strikes against these targets, in an effort to curb Iran’s military capabilities and deter future aggression.

General Rezaei, who serves as the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution, made the threat in a press conference in Tehran, where he accused the US of launching a “new wave of aggression” against his country. “We have informed the US that if they do not stop their military strikes, we will launch full-scale offensive operations,” he warned. “We are prepared for any scenario, and we will not back down in the face of US aggression.”

Iran’s military has been a major thorn in the side of the US and its allies in the region, particularly with regards to their support of proxy militias and their development of ballistic missiles. In response to these perceived threats, the US and its allies have implemented a range of economic and military sanctions against Iran, in an effort to curb their behavior.

However, Iran’s President, Ebrahim Raisi, has vowed to continue resisting US pressure, despite warnings from Tehran’s top leaders that the country’s economy is on the brink of collapse. “We will not back down, even if our economy is under pressure,” he said in a speech to lawmakers last month. “We will continue to stand strong against the US, and we will not allow them to threaten our national security.”

The latest developments come as the US and Iran engage in a tense game of cat-and-mouse, with each side vowing to defend its interests and deter the other side’s aggression. The US has warned that any further escalation by Iran could lead to a conflict that would have far-reaching consequences for the entire region.

As the situation continues to deteriorate, officials in both Washington and Tehran are watching with growing concern. A US military official, speaking on condition of anonymity, noted that the current situation is “extremely volatile” and that any further escalation by either side could have devastating consequences.

For now, it remains to be seen whether the US will heed General Rezaei’s warning and scale back its military strikes against Iran, or whether Tehran will follow through on its threat to launch full-scale offensive operations. One thing is certain, however – the situation in the Middle East is more volatile than ever, and the world holds its breath as the conflict between the US and Iran continues to deteriorate.
