Kyiv, Ukraine – In a significant escalation of tensions, Russia launched a massive combined missile and drone attack on Ukraine late last night and this morning, resulting in widespread disruptions and potential damage to key military and civilian targets. According to sources, a total of 51 missiles were launched from various locations in Russia, including OTRK installations, ground-based installations, and naval vessels in the western Black Sea.
The arsenal deployed by Russia included 38 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, 6 Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles, 4 Kh-59/69 cruise missiles, 2 P-800 Oniks supersonic cruise missiles, and 1 Kh-31P anti-radar missile. The Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles, which were launched from OTRK installations near Klintsy, Bryansk Oblast and from installations near Klintsy, Bryansk Oblast, are capable of delivering high-precision munitions over long distances, posing a significant threat to Ukraine’s military and civilian infrastructure.

The primary targets of the attack appear to be Ukrainian military facilities in Kyiv, including the Kyiv Central Design Bureau of Valves machine building plant, the Meridian Radio Plant, and the Artem Defence Plant. Other targets include a plastics factory, an auto-parts enterprise, and a logistics warehouse in Kyiv. Additionally, Ukrainian air forces reported strikes on Yuzhnyi Port in Odesa Oblast, as well as unknown targets near Karolino-Buhaz and Chornomorsk in Odesa Oblast.
The attack has triggered widespread disruptions in Ukraine, with reports of damaged buildings and infrastructure.
