Moreover, Ukrainian forces in the Black Sea region have reported accurate hits on three Russian tanker vessels that were part of the ‘shadow fleet’, thought to be involved in the illicit transportation of fuel and other essential goods to Russian troops in Ukraine. These tankers are suspected of being part of a larger network of clandestine vessels operating in the Black Sea, evading international monitoring and sanctions.
