Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Dubai Airports, the state-run aviation authority overseeing operations at Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC), has announced a significant expansion plan for the Emirate’s primary flight hub. According to key stakeholders, the multi-phased expansion is projected to drive significant growth in capacity, with a 22% increase in annual passenger throughput envisioned by 2027. Concurrently, airport authorities intend to introduce advanced facilities and infrastructure enhancements to improve customer convenience, including streamlined check-in and boarding processes, expanded seating areas, and upgraded retail options.
