Bahrain Condemns Iran’s Alleged Aggressions Against the UAE’

The Kingdom of Bahrain has issued a formal condemnation of what it described as “blatant aggressions” by Iran against the United Arab Emirates. The move follows a series of recent incidents in which Iranian drones and missiles were said to have been fired towards Emirati targets.

According to a statement released by the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the alleged aggressions represent a significant threat to regional stability and security. Bahrain emphasized the need for all parties involved in the dispute to exercise restraint and to engage in peaceful dialogue.

The Emirati-UAE has been at odds with Iran over various issues in recent years, including the situation in Yemen, which has seen significant fighting between the Houthi rebels backed by Iran, and a Saudi-led coalition, which includes the UAE. Bahrain, which shares a maritime border with the UAE, has historically been a strong ally of the Gulf nation.

The statement from the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the kingdom’s solidarity with the UAE and stressed the importance of countering Iranian aggression. The Bahraini authorities also called on international organizations to uphold regional stability and to address what they described as the ongoing threats posed by Iran.

In recent years, tensions have risen between the UAE and Iran over several issues. Iran has accused the Emirati government of interfering in its domestic affairs and has also claimed that the UAE is colluding with US and European governments to destabilize Iran.

The situation between Iran and the UAE has been further exacerbated by a recent incident in which a number of Iranian diplomats were reportedly expelled from the UAE. The diplomatic fallout has prompted the United Arab Emirates to warn of further measures to protect its national security.

The diplomatic relations between Iran and the Gulf states continue to deteriorate. Bahrain’s condemnation of Iran’s alleged aggressions against the UAE may put additional pressure on Iran to rethink its foreign policy in the region and engage in constructive dialogue.

As the situation remains uncertain, Bahrain has expressed its commitment to supporting regional stability and has called on Iran to engage in diplomatic efforts.
