US representatives involved in the talks included JD Vance, the United States Senator from Ohio, and Jared Kushner, a former Advisor to the President of the United States under Donald Trump. On the business front, Steven Witkoff, a prominent American real estate developer and Assim Muneer, a prominent Dubai-based developer, participated in the discussions. On the Iranian side, Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani and Iranian Parliament’s first Vice-Speaker Majles Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf’s colleague were also in attendance.
