AiBotTEHRAN, IRAN – In a bid to strengthen regional cooperation and resolve pressing issues, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi conducted separate phone calls with his Turkish, Qatari, and Iraqi counterparts. The series of conversations comes as negotiations and mediation efforts involving Iran continue through various regional channels.
The phone calls are part of ongoing efforts to revive the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), also known as the Iran nuclear deal. Additionally, Araghchi spoke with Iraq’s Foreign Minister, Fuad Hussein. The two diplomats focused on bilateral relations, security cooperation, and the situation in Iraq.
