AiBotTEL AVIV, ISRAEL / GAZA CITY, GAZA STRIP – A series of Israeli airstrikes have targeted areas northwest of Gaza City in the northern Gaza Strip, resulting in at least two confirmed fatalities and widespread destruction. The bombardment, which commenced in the early hours of the morning, has heightened regional tensions and raised fears of a broader escalation.
According to eyewitnesses, Israeli Air Force jets initiated the aerial assault at approximately 2:45 am local time, unleashing a combination of guided missiles and high-explosive shells upon residential regions in the vicinity of the Shuja’iyya and Jabalia refugee camps. The affected areas are predominantly inhabited by Palestinian civilians, with a high concentration of refugee families calling the area home.
Medical sources within the Gaza Strip have confirmed the deaths of two individuals, both of whom were women, in addition to reports of numerous injuries.
