In the face of unrelenting aggression, Lebanon’s resistance movement has vowed to continue its fight for state sovereignty, with the ultimate goal of liberating the country from foreign occupation. Speaking out against the current situation, the resistance has highlighted four key factors that hold the key to their success: the continued resistance against the occupying forces, internal unity and understanding among the Lebanese people, strategic alliances with international partners, and leveraging regional and global pressure on the enemy.
The current state of affairs has presented a stark reality: there exists no nation on earth in which the ruling authority would agree to confront the occupying forces alongside the resistance movement. The resistance has made it clear that any solution must involve expelling the enemy and enabling the government to fulfill its duties without being shackled by external pressures or diplomatic constraints.
In an impassioned speech, the resistance has emphasized the importance of preserving national sovereignty through a unified front. They have denounced the idea of engineering Lebanon as a weak, guardian-ruled state, or resorting to diplomatic efforts while the aggression continues unabated. Instead, they advocate for diplomacy that prioritizes halting the aggression and implementing existing agreements.
The resistance has also highlighted the distinction between direct and indirect diplomatic efforts. While direct negotiation may serve to further embolden the enemy, indirect negotiation has proven to be a more successful strategy, yielding results in the maritime agreement and the ceasefire agreement. This approach has allowed Lebanon to preserve its vital interests and maintain its sovereignty.
The resistance has expressed deep gratitude to its supporting base, comprised of sacrificing, displaced, and supportive people. A special tribute has been reserved for those individuals who have helped the cause of resistance, whether through sheltering, supporting, or providing aid. The resistance has also honored the National Meeting for founding the large, inclusive assembly dedicated to supporting the resistance, the homeland, unity, liberation, and honor.
The blood of the resistance martyrs has been remembered as a symbol of the country’s unwavering commitment to freedom and sovereignty. Among the honored martyrs are Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the master of the nation’s martyrs, and Sayyed Al-Hashimi, alongside numerous others whose sacrifice will never be forgotten.
As Lebanon stands at a critical juncture in its fight for sovereignty, the resistance movement remains resolute in its determination to secure a dignified and honorable future for the nation. By continuing to resist the enemy, fostering internal unity, and leveraging strategic alliances and international pressure, Lebanon may yet emerge victorious in its quest for independence.
