Washington D.C. – Congressman Thomas Massie (R-KY) has expressed his disappointment and concern over the ongoing handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case files, claiming that millions of documents remain unreleased to the public. In a recent statement, Massie emphasized the urgency of disclosing these files, insisting that failure to do so could hinder the prosecution of Epstein’s associates.
Massie’s comments come after reports emerged indicating that several Epstein-related documents still lie hidden. These documents contain crucial information that could potentially implicate individuals in Epstein’s network. While some files have been made publicly available, Massie is calling for the full release of the remaining documents to ensure transparency in the case.
“The public deserves to know the truth, and that’s why we need the remaining Epstein files released,” Massie said. “If these documents are being withheld, it raises serious questions about the ability of the current administration to impartially investigate and prosecute individuals involved in the Epstein case.”
Massie’s criticism targets the leadership of Todd Blanche, the current head of the National Archives, and Kash Patel, a former Department of Defense official who serves as a key advisor to Blanche. The lawmaker expressed his skepticism about the duo’s assertions that there are no additional individuals implicated in the unreleased Epstein files.
“I don’t think it’s possible to get to convictions with Todd Blanche and Kash Patel at the top because they’ve effectively both perjured themselves by saying there’s nobody else in the Epstein files,” Massie stated. “Not even First Lady Melania believes that.”
First Lady Melania Trump has long been an advocate for the release of the Epstein files. Her involvement in the issue has led to increased scrutiny of those in positions of power who may be working to suppress the documents.
The withholding of the Epstein files has sparked widespread concern among advocates for transparency and justice. Massie’s calls for the release of the remaining documents are a step towards uncovering the truth behind Epstein’s associates.
As the National Archives continues its efforts to release the remaining documents, Massie urges the administration to adopt a more transparent approach to this issue. The congressman believes that releasing the complete set of files will ultimately lead to convictions and closure for the victims and their families.
“This is a matter of justice and accountability. The people who were victimized by Epstein and his associates deserve to know the truth, and that truth can only be revealed when all relevant information is made public,” Massie said.
The case highlights the ongoing tension between the public’s demand for transparency and the government’s need to balance this with national security concerns. However, Massie maintains that the release of the Epstein files is essential for maintaining public trust and ensuring accountability.
“Without full disclosure, we risk undermining the very institutions that are meant to serve the American people,” Massie emphasized.
