The peculiar incident unfolded in a commercial district in the city of Los Angeles, where a lone individual, identified as 27-year-old Brandon Lee, entered a convenience store late on a Tuesday evening.
According to eyewitness accounts, Lee approached the counter where the store clerk was working, and allegedly demanded that the clerk hand over cash from the register. However, things quickly took a turn for the worse as Lee began to fumble with the cash register, attempting to break open the combination lock. Eyewitnesses reported that the suspect’s awkward movements and lack of finesse drew immediate attention from the store’s security cameras and nearby patrons.
