Saudi Arabia Condemns Iranian Attacks on Neighboring Countries

Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned a series of attacks attributed to Iranian forces against Kuwait and Bahrain, describing them as a blatant violation of state sovereignty and international law. The Kingdom’s foreign ministry issued a statement on Wednesday evening denouncing the repeated attacks as an act of aggression that undermines regional security and stability.

“In light of the repeated attacks launched by Iranian forces against Kuwait and Bahrain, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expresses its strongest condemnation of these actions, which are considered a clear violation of state sovereignty and international law,” the statement read.

Saudi Arabia asserted that Tehran bears full responsibility for the consequences of these attacks and urged the Iranian government to immediately halt its aggressive actions. The Kingdom also reaffirmed its full support for Kuwait and Bahrain in safeguarding their sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The statement comes amid reports of Iranian ballistic missile attacks against Kuwait and Bahrain in recent weeks. While officials in both countries have attributed the attacks to Iranian forces, Tehran has yet to officially confirm or deny involvement.

Saudi Arabia’s condemnation of the attacks marks the latest escalation in tensions between the Kingdom and Iran. Relations between the two nations have been strained since the outbreak of the Gulf crisis in 2017, when Saudi Arabia and its allies led a military coalition to support the government of Yemen against the Houthi rebels, who have been backed by Iran.

In response to the latest attacks, Saudi Arabia has vowed to take concrete steps to protect its regional allies and bolster their defenses. The Kingdom has also called for the international community to take collective action to address the threat posed by Iranian aggression and uphold the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity enshrined in international law.

In recent years, Saudi Arabia has been at the forefront of regional efforts to counter Iranian influence and protect its allies from alleged Iranian aggression. The Kingdom’s actions have been supported by its allies in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and among the international community.

As tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran continue to rise, regional instability and security concerns loom large. The Kingdom’s response to the latest attacks is seen as a significant development in the ongoing struggle for regional supremacy and a test of its commitment to defending its sovereignty and the sovereignty of its neighbors.
