U.S. Central Command Increases Pressure on Iran with Additional Strike Operations

In a bid to further degrade Iran’s military capabilities, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces launched a follow-up round of strikes against the country on July 8, the U.S. Central Command announced. The operation aimed to disrupt Iran’s capacity to attack commercial shipping and innocent civilians navigating the Strait of Hormuz.
