The newly implemented regulations mandate adherence to stringent digital safety protocols, including encryption and password protection, among all government agencies and public institutions.
According to sources within the UAE’s Ministry of State for Artificial Intelligence, the policy is a direct response to increasing instances of cyber breaches and malicious attacks targeting national information systems.
